260+ guests

At the last one (AMC2026) — one of the largest gatherings this industry has.

One night, across every border in this trade

Estheticians, spa therapists, clinical practitioners, Thai massage, seitai. People who would never normally share a room, together from around the world. Judges, instructors, organisers — and anyone who came simply to watch — all set their titles down for the evening.

Coming on your own is absolutely fine. Everyone here is devoted to the same work, so just come along and relax.

Everything given. Now we celebrate each other.

Off the stage, there are no scores — just people devoted to the same work. Last time, as they celebrated each other's skills, the conversation ran from technique to going independent and carried on late into the night.

How the evening goes

Last time (AMC2026) the room was on the 18th floor, looking out over Shibuya.

  1. Guests toasting against the Tokyo skyline

Raise a glass, and words become optional

You raise a glass with someone who stood on the same floor that day, the Tokyo skyline behind you. Nationality and division stop mattering — it starts with thanking each other for the day.

  2. Guests toasting at a table

Sit down, and the talk turns to technique

Over food and drinks: How do you place your hands? What kind of clients do you work with? The questions you could not ask on the competition floor come up naturally at the table.

  3. The toast at the after party

The later it gets, the more people gather

Last time, competitors, judges, international guests and spectators all found themselves on the same floor before long. The day of competition flows straight into one shared evening.

What only this evening gives you

  • Guests raising a toast at the after party

Sit down with a trade you never meet

People from trades that rarely cross paths end up at the same table. How do you place your hands? What kind of clients do you work with? Here you hear the kind of stories you never hear inside your own field.

  • A group photo at the after party

    Different languages, same hands

Competitors, judges and international guests from around the world. Even through an interpreter, showing something with your hands gets it across — that is the pleasure of this trade. Techniques that differ country by country get demonstrated on the spot.

  • Guests at the after party

The people you meet become the work you do next

At past championships, people who met here have gone on to open a salon together, and others have been invited to teach seminars abroad. Some have told us that the people they met that night meant more to them than the competition itself.

The previous venue (AMC2026)

CÉ LA VI TOKYO

Last time (AMC2026) it was on the 18th floor of Tokyu Plaza Shibuya. The indoor lounge opened straight onto an outdoor terrace looking over Shibuya and the Tokyo skyline.

If you are on the fence

  • Is it fine to come on my own?

Yes — coming on your own is welcome. Everyone in the room spent the same day at the same championship, so "which division were you watching?" is enough to start a conversation. Come and meet as many people as you can.

  • Can I come if I am not competing?

You can. Competitors, judges, instructors and international guests, but also spectators and volunteer staff. The more mixed the room, the better the evening.

  • Will I enjoy it if I do not speak English?

That is no problem. Even through an interpreter, showing something with your hands gets the message across. You may find your hands start talking before the words do.

  • What should I wear?

The dress code is casual — everyday clothes are perfectly fine. There is an outdoor terrace, so a light layer is worth bringing for later in the evening.

Last time (AMC2026)

Held on 3 June 2026 at CÉ LA VI TOKYO in Shibuya. Therapists, estheticians and practitioners from across the industry filled the room, and the conversation — technique, business, going independent — ran late into the night.
