Photography Policy
Photography and Image Use
The organiser records and shares the championship in photographs and video. This applies to everyone at the venue: competitors, judges, spectators, volunteers and supporters.
1. Photography by the organiser
The organiser (International Therapy Association) and photographers or media it has engaged will photograph and film the venue during the event. Parts of the event may be live-streamed.
2. How images are used
Photographs and video may be used for:
- The official website
- Sharing with people who took part
- Press and media (newspapers, television, magazines and so on)
- Social media, YouTube and websites of the organiser and related organisations
- Publicity for future championships
3. Competitors and judges
Competitors take part having agreed to the section on copyright, portrait rights and streaming in the Participant Rules. For the publication of judges' profiles and photographs, please see the Judge Guidelines. Photographing judges at the venue and using their images is based on the consent given at registration.
4. If you would rather not appear
Spectators and volunteers who would rather not appear in published photographs or video can tell us at reception on the day or through the contact form. If something has already been published, we will consider removing or replacing it on the official website and social channels (material already published by third parties such as the press may not be covered).
5. Photography by visitors
Please do not photograph the competition area during sessions, so that competitors can concentrate and judging stays fair. Elsewhere in the venue, please be considerate of the people in your shots, and follow venue signs and staff instructions on the day.
