About the championship
The Massage Championship World Tour (MCWT) is an international massage competition that decides the world's No.1 therapist. It has grown steadily from the Japan Massage Championship (2023) through AMC2024 and the Massage Championship World Tour (2025), and AMC2026 drew 463 entries and 3,700 visitors.
The championship runs over two days. Day one is a workshop day with more than 40 seminars and hands-on sessions; day two is the world championship itself. Top therapists from around the world compete in six divisions: Oil, Traditional Thai, Body Care (Stretch), Facial, Freestyle Western and Freestyle Eastern.
MCWT exists to bring the world's hands-on techniques together in one place. Having somewhere to compete pushes technique forward, and as technique improves, so does the way this work is valued.
