Russian Honey Massageロシア式ハニーマッサージМедовый массаж

A treatment found in the bath culture and salons of Russia and Ukraine, pressing the palms onto honeyed skin and pulling away repeatedly; said to 'draw out toxins', the observable effect is reddening of the skin (local increase in blood flow). A folk origin is claimed, but its spread dates mainly from the late 20th century and the sources are under review.
